Also, now it’s a proven fact that fad diets do more harm than good. Following a proper diet and workout regimen is not everyone’s cup of tea. Consistency in work out or in your diet is something much required to reduce your weight, but most of us often fail to perform it properly. So, the worst things happen again- we gain more weight or what we try to do since two-three days, are all go in vain.
Luckily there are some Ayurveda tips which are also backed by science and thus, can help lose weight, both the science way and the Ayurveda way.
Eat protein-rich breakfast
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day which we should not skip. We often avoid it due to our unwillingness for the food or because of our hurriedness. Avois breakfast is the most dangerous mistake we often do unknowingly. It’s true as according to a study published in 2011 by US National Library of Medicine, eating a protein-rich breakfast actually boosts your metabolism. Higher the metabolism, the higher the number of calories you burn. You can have eggs, yoghurt, cottage cheese and avocados as these are particularly rich in protein and make an ideal ingredient for breakfast.
Completely avoid liquid calories
A recent study, conducted on obese women aged 20-25, found that avoiding high-sugar drinks or switching them with plain water is highly helpful in weight loss. So, ditch that fizzy soda and juice and switch to tap water. These small little changes are easy to make and are worth the results they have. And try to take normal water or lukewarm water than cold frizzed water. It is often said that cold water helps in gaining weight. So, taking liquid is good for health and make it a practice in your daily routine.
Eating too fast can be one major reason behind your weight loss problem. The faster the person eats, the more they eat and the more hungry they feel. Eating slow gives your brain a signal of feeling full even before you are actually full. If you think you overeat and you also eat fast then this might be the reason behind your being overweight.
Slowing the eating process leads to a more pronounced anorexigenic gut peptide. These peptides activate the catabolic circuit and alert the brain that you are full and do not need any more food.
So, at the beginning of your diet for reducing weight, get accustomed to the above-mentioned things. It will help a little bit to fulfil your aim.
